different looking, high quality, and makes very good coffee
I've been using a paper filter pour-over from the originator of this type of coffee making for about a decade. I've gotten a bit tired of the cleanness of the coffee and wanted to try something a little more robust. This caught my eye, and I figured what the heck, it looks interesting, it's not expensive, so why not.It was a good purchase. the urn is attractive and flawlessly made. I hope not to find out whether or not it lives up to the Unbreakable name, but it has held up to a bit of careless handling. The borosilicate glass has a bit of weight, but it's not too heavy. The spout pours perfectly cleanly without a single drip. The filter is a cross between a cone filter and a French press filter. The coffee is double filtered; the inner filter is a fine mesh filter, the outer is just perforated steel. There are several holes in the bottom, and I was afraid that it would pour too quickly and not give water enough time on the grounds, like some other mesh filters. It does not. Coffee drips at a normal rate for a pour-over. It tastes a lot like press coffee without the sludge (or not much). I'm using the same medium-fine grind that I use with the paper filter maker, and it works well.Since the volume of this filter is less than the #4 filters I've been using, I have to do more pours, so it takes a little more attention. Grounds tend to stick to the filter, so it takes a little more care in cleaning, but the results are worth it.This is definitely different than other coffee makers I've used, but I'm quite pleased with it. It makes good coffee, looks unique, and pours like a charm. I'm convinced.

Great performance for the price. Great coffee.
This is a superb product. I started out looking for a good drip filter holder, but this guy was priced about the same and came with a beautiful pitcher too! Note that though the filter funnel is intended for use without paper filters, I get the best result using a pour over white filter in the funnel. Highly recommended!

Great product
My mom loved it . It was a gift for her birthday . It felt very fragile . So we will see if its unbreakable. Seemed pretty easy to use . Was bigger than i thought it would be .

Great coffee, delicate operations
Easy to use and makes a good cup of coffee. The glass is fragile so we are very careful. Couple drawbacks: 1. Cone shaped filters are helpful as it gives the coffee a bit more time to brew, and there is no mention of that in the instructions. 2. There is a black rubber piece that came with the strainer handle, it fell off immediately and has since been lost. Not sure it's purpose.

Great gift!
Only had this 4 days, but it is amazing quality and I love a handle and spout! Very happy with my purchase. This was an anniversary gift for my spouse who wanted to up his coffee game and it was perfect for that.

Love the look and the way coffee comes out
This pretty coffee carafe is smaller in reality than it appears in photos. Ok if you drink only one or two mugs. Drainage is slow, so coffee is almost cold by the time you are finished filling the carafe. But luckily you can put the carafe on the stove (I put it on low on my electric stove and it keeps the coffee warm). The carafe opening is too narrow for an adult hand to go through for washing with a sponge but it comes with a small brush for the spout. I bought this because I wanted a coffee maker in glass and metal (no plastic) and one where I could put a paper filter (to remove cholesterol), it works fine, it's pretty, the advantage is that it goes on the stove, I like the tast of my all-steel french press better but this is not bad at all. I love the look and the way the coffee pours out.

A bookmark is thicker than the bottom of this thing.
I poured coffee into this thing put it onto a ceramic with a sticky coating, I gave it a twist to release it from the ceramic with the sticky coating and all of a sudden I had a second spout, directly in the bottom of the thing. I thought fast and gave my sink some much needed caffeine I stood there in shock for a good 30 seconds, how could something so cool let me down so badly? So I investigated it and found a piece of glass where the ceramic coating was, AT FIRST i COULD BARELY SEE IT, IT WAS SO TINY. I took out my trusty dial caliper and it measured a whopping 0.015" for reference an average piece of printer paper is 0.004" I wanted to make sure I wasnt hallucinating So I measured the bookmark I was using to read with my book before I was rudely interrupted by spontaneous dissasembly and found it to be bigger, than I took the caliper with the bookmark measurement and could fit the piece of glass that is used to hold up many ounces of boiling hot liquid.Other places on the coffee maker/holder seemed plenty thick enough and if they can fix the manufacturing method so there is a much much thicker bottom I can see this being a fantastic product, but for now I cannot reccomend and would like to encourage the maker to do what I reccomend and make the bottom the strongest part of this coffee maker.Oh also make the spot welds on the coffee filter more robust I had another 1 that looked just like that coffee filter and it only lasted me about a year, this product should last a minimum of 10 years if you want anybody to take you seriously. :)

Taste the coffee.
Well made and excellent large 2 cup pour over coffee maker. I use a find ground mix which I found needed a paper filter inside the well made cone to make a very great cup of coffee.By the way, I use 3 measure scoops for 2 cups of coffee.
