Worked as expected
Not much to say here except that it seems to have done as expected. After using this to calibrate my device, taking my readings has been a breeze. Another family member previously tried to take readings before using this to calibrate and that didn’t work out very well. So, I recommend always running a control sample first before using a device that has been out of use for a few months.

Added Cargo for the iHealth system
So far I really like the iHealth system. I am not very clear on the whole testing the test strips. It seams like by now this should be a thing of the past.

Only worthwhile if your results are outside the normal range printed on the test strip bottle.
Unless you are getting extremely odd readings, this does not seem worth the effort. My reading using the test solution was 119 mg/dl. Then I found the range it should be within on the bottle of the test strips I'm currently using. It is 110-165 mg/dl, a range of 55 mg/dl.This tells me nothing useful. The actual test results I got with this bottle of strips were all within that range. So, if you think your meter is off, first look at the range on the test strips. If your readings are within that range, the test solution isn't going to tell you anything. That said, the meter itself is awesome!

I don't really "get" this stuff.
I was a little skeptical that my iHealth glucose meter was accurate so I tried the control solution. It tested in the range expected.. but I really don't know if that's confirmation that it's the right number or not. I guess the range is accurate but the unit isn't pinpoint accurate. Good enough for me.. but it still has my scratching my head.
