Triple H Making the Game: Triple H's Approach to a Better Body (WWE)

One of the most overlooked bodybuilding books out there; second to Arnold Encyclopedia.
I read this book about 15 years ago when I first got into Bodybuilding. This book and the Arnold BB encyclopedia was my foundation to the sport. I was very pleased to find a hardback on Amazon. While HHH's and Arnold's approaches to Bodybuilding are slightly different, the different perspectives allowed me to find what worked best for me. My edition is slightly different; lettering on my cover sleeve is "raised" which is really fancy features and newer picture of HHH. You can tell because his hair is a little thinner (pre-haircut) and his physique is a little flatter from age and the WWE "Wellness" Policy. If you like to learn as much as you possibly can from different bodybuilders AND you like Professional Wrestling, YOU BUY NOW!

Great tips for everyone
Love reading his story but it's also a great book with fitness tips and advice that anyone can adapt to their lifestyle and use. If you're a beginner to working out or trying to get in shape, this is a good book to start with.

The book could be shorter
In overall the book is good and shows some great workout exercises and it has great set of advises. But you also will read a lot of biography and facts from his life described in very chronological order like a meeting minutes, without emotions and other picture descriptions. Well, book is definitely worth reading. Finally, we never know how HHH would look without the steroids.

Making The Game
This is a great and fun read for any wrestling fan or young person looking to build more muscle and a better body. Triple H himself goes over various workout routines that he uses starting from a novice to the real nitty-gritty stuff, including pictures and detailed instruction. Plus, he throws in some autobiography. Not your typical WWE autobiography. Certainly a must-have for any Triple H fan.

Time To Play The Game
This was a terrific read, not only for a HHH fan like myself, but for anyone looking for different methods of weight training and dieting to supplement it. Highly recommend

Excellant book for any wrestling fan
I love this book. The pictures themselves are worth the money and his routine gives a person something to work at. Everyone is different but his concept is good. The personal chapters in this book are really good. It shows that not all is what it seems. This man has had a long hard battle and his work ethic is something most people could learn something from. I highly recomend it to anyone interested in wrestling, or looking for some inspiration.

Good read
Nice layout the way it's nutrition based every other chapter.

Great Book
I decided to get this book for two reasons:1) I am a fan of Triple H.2) I wanted to start weight lifting. This book provides some biographical information about Triple H, as well as gives some good weight lifting advice for those who are just getting into weight lifting. This book is by no means a be all and end all bodybuilding bible, however it definitely helped me get started with weight lifting by outlining a regimen, and introducing me to a bunch of exercises. Plus, the biographical segments are fun to read as well.

Where are the photo colour pages in the middle of the workouts gone??!
So I already owned this book, got it possibly when WWE was still called WWF and while the book itself is the still the same, this is clearly an inferior version to the one I had before. For starters, it's clearly photocopied as one of the pictures is totally faded out on one page, but the worst thing is; one of the best parts about the book were the glossy high-res in-colour photos of all the workouts Triple H uses in his routine, all have just been scanned in black and white. I mean you're charing 10.99 for the new book, why not just leave the book the way it was, why wreck it by photocopying it in black and white, it's so cheap! If this doesn't bother you, of course the actual information is invaluable, dunno would I use it as my sole guide since it was written in like 2004 i'd say so over 15 years old, but definitely will help you in workout. The advice on nutrition and the fact all the info and pictures of the workouts including sets, reps, tips, days are all broken down in the book, it's probably still useful and i'm a huge GAME fan, just re-starting again in the gym so I have no doubt I will reference it and re-read it many times.Overall book is great (info wise), but the cheap black and white photocopy-looking pages bugs me since I know the middle was done in full cover originally. So only 3/5 stars from me,... might even be worth getting a used version in the hope that it's older an has the coloured pics in it.
