We bought a 50 pack of these Mixpresso capsules in the Lungo flavor (an Arabica blend). I read a lot of reviews and saw this type reviewed well and we are pretty pleased with them...The first cup we brewed, the crema, strength, and overall flavor was excellent. There were no espresso grounds in our cup and it was quite comparable to our regular, more expensive Nespresso.We've also tried Highline's pods and I liked them but my husband didn't care much for it. More often than not, theirs didn't puncture correctly and we'd have to punch into the pods a second time to get the coffee to come out properly.These seemed perfect at our first cup but after trying a good 30 plus cups, we've found they have the same issue, just less often. Maybe every one in three cups (comes out irritatingly slow if we don't stop and give it another punch).Produced in Italy. 6 grams per capsule. Ours arrived with a best by date of June, 2017 (about 11 months out) and each pack of ten was tightly sealed.Not perfect pods but most importantly, fantastic espresso, especially for the savings. Will be buying more and might just stick with this flavor, since we like it so much.Nicely balanced, bold, and flavorful. Good in a cappuccino or straight with cream. This is the real deal. Turkish Espresso pods with cardamom. Tastes like it's supposed to.I made the mistake of buying these without knowing that the Nespresso line of machines actually has several different types of pods. So I was not prepared for the pods not fitting my machine. But the company refunded me, and told me to keep the coffee! You know what that means -- EXPERIMENTATION! So I tried to make my own Nespresso foil disc pods using the espresso in the plastic cup-pods in the box. That was a total fail. What does work is using a coffee machine filter. I just cut open the plastic pod, dump the coffee into a filter, and pour hot water onto, letting it drip. It's slow, but it the thing that works the best. So none of my pods will have to go to waste.

As long as I remember, my family started each morning with Turkish coffee. I spent countless hours, as a child in Lebanon, manually grinding the coffee beans... and adding just enough cardamon for the right taste.In USA, I tried adding ground cardamon to ground coffee, but it did not taste right.These capsules are as close as you can get taste wise to the real thing I remember... without having to deal with the coffee mud that they use in the south and east of the Mediterranean to tell your fortune.

Ghastly!! I was eager to try this coffee, not because it’s less expensive than Nespresso, but because I love good Turkish coffee. What a mistake! First of all these pods, unlike genuine Nespresso pods, are encapsulated in a plastic cup - unrecyclable! Nespresso has made the original Nespresso pods out of recyclable aluminum cups and tops which they encourage their customers to recycle by giving out a return bag. Customers are asked to return, postage free, the used capsules to their company, or wherever their products are sold - where they are then recycled!Second, the coffee tasted like plastic to me, awful! I can’t imagine the plastic infused coffee is healthier!I’m not going to drink anymore; couldn’t even finish the first cup. Meantime I’m trying to figure out how to throw these darn things out. . . In an environmentally friendly way. . . please think twice, or even three times, before purchasing. Cheaper is not always less expensive, especially in the long run.Thanks

These have great flavor for decaf, which I have to drink, although I much prefer fully caffeinated coffee. And, they are soooo much more affordable than the Nespresso coffees. However, my old Nespresso machine is not always happy with them, and I suspect that part of that is because they are made of light plastic rather than aluminum, so it must confuse the machine. Generally, they work ok and one gets the full disposal of coffee. But, occasionally the hang up and only dribble a little coffee or they dribble at about half the rate of the real thing. Overall, however, I think they work just fine for the cost and have really good flavor, so will continue to buy them. They make using the Nespresso affordable enough that I don't mind making a cup of coffee anytime I feel like it.

This was a very disappointing purchase. I wanted to find an alternative to the expensive Nespresso coffee pods. We prefer decaffinated coffee and that is what I was searching for on Amazon. Somehow, as I was checking out the offerings, I clicked on this Mixpresso variety pack. Still thinking I was looking at decaf offerings I purchased it without double checking for a decaf statement. It wasn't decaf. I now have 50 pods of coffee my wife can not drink at all and I can only tolerate in the morning. To add insult to injury the coffee tastes awful. It is weak and has an off taste that may be chickory or some other filler. Lesson I learned is that there is value in getting the real Nespresso coffee instead of sad alternatives.

The taste is not that bad... but the size of the pods themselves seem to be too big.... i have a hard time closing the lid of the coffee machine and in the long run i have the feeling that it's going to break it

Pods are cheap plastic which i wouldn't mind if the coffee was good. Extremely weak espresso. Its like drinking water with colour.

This espresso coffee has a great rich taste and is a great value.Compared to the name brand capsules for Nespresso original line coffeemakers.I highly recommend this to anyone looking for great taste at a bargain price!!!!

Tastes watery like as if you forget to put a new pod in.
