Q: Can you use a blow dryer to heat the foam?

No a blow dryer won’t work. It doesn’t get the foam warm enough.

Q: How long do you have to heat the foam? I tried 20 seconds and got a faint impression.

You heat the foam for approximately 20 seconds, then press it into whatever you are trying to get an image off, pressing firmly for about 10 seconds. Then add ink to the foam and stamp. Lots of excellent videos demonstrating on YouTube.

Q: What type of foam is this? What is it made from?

The packaging does not show the material, but it is a cool material that allows you to make your own temporary stamps. Heat the foam and press it over an object.... the foam will retain the shape and you can stamp with it. When you finish. Heat it again and it returns to the prior shape and it is ready to use again.
