Beautiful Remote Switch needs Master to work and Hub for Alexa
Beautiful remote switch can be placed anywhere (that has power), but works only with the Legrand master switch. A new, and expensive concept of 3-way switches. The master switch controls the light, the remote switch wirelessly controls the master switch, and therefore the light, albeit with a slight lag time. You must also purchase special mounting bracket and switch plate covers, which can greatly add to the beauty, and the cost.My only wish is an easy connection to the smart home system (Alexa, Google Home). Paying this much money for a switch that also needs an expensive hub to connect is insulting and avoidable.

Love the 30-second lights off feature, can't get some of these to work together
These are great for adding dimming capability to multiple locations for the same lights (with wired dimmers, only one dimmer can be within a circuit, other 3- or 4-way switches have to be on/off switches instead of dimmers), or adding dimming to places without having to tear down drywall. The dimmers look great.Tactile feedback is different from wired dimmers, these have less travel and quieter "click" when pressed. These also behave differently in some ways, like the gradual lights-off feature engages faster (don't have to press the button as long as with wired dimmers). These look nearly identical to wired switches.Major problem is installation and unclear instructions. There are operating states that aren't explained in the instructions (or anywhere on Internet). Nothing explains what's difference between "single room" and "whole house" dimmers. They look identical, they come with identical instructions, but don't work together. There are also unexplained compatibility issues -- after purchasing several master and remote dimmers, I have two groups that refuse to join each others houseId group, and have to use master dimmers as remotes (without lights) because none of the remote dimmers work with them.
