Q: Whats the difference between the red and black?

It depends on your application. The black is generally used where oil is present like valve cover gasket. Red is high temperature but not as high as copper. Blue is multipurpose but I wouldn’t use it near heat. Grey is good for water pumps and thermostat. I hope this helps.

Yes most definitely . Just apply a bead around where needed and give it just a few minutes to kind of set up a little (you can touch it without it sticking) no problem . Makes a clean installation. Thanks for asking

That shouldn't be no problem as long as it is fully cured. I wouldn't try plugging a hole or anything like that but it is great.
