ABN Air Undercoating Gun – Vehicle Undercoating Spray Gun Kit with Nozzle and Flexible Hose Undercoat Spray Gun

Have yet to use the gun but wanted to leave this to try to help others and will update of it doesn't work as expected. In regard to the irregular thread... I didn't get to try a quart Gatorade bottle yet (ones in our store were new stubby version) but found another workable solution. I had bought some 20oz Gatorade bottles and found that the cap size is the same as multiple bottles I had handy in the pantry (vinegar bottles, bleach, hand soap, etc.). While the 20oz Gatorade bottles are not tall enough these others are. The threads on the gun are made of metal and quite sharp so I thought I could possibly make an adapter. I heated the end of the tube and used it to push a perfect hole through the Gatorade cap. Then used the cutoff piece of bottle to gain some leverage and thread this into the gun. Lastly I punched a breather hole in line with the one in the gun (can use a hot implement or just a pointy knife). End result seems like a good solid adapter. It is threaded in there tight and adapts to the Gatorade bottle and others well. I could cut the pickup tube off if I wanted to use the 20oz bottles but think I'll try the larger bottles from pantry before going that small. I would vebture to guess thaybthe regular metal undercoating cans should fit now too but have yet to try them. Hope this helps someone else

Like others you won't find a bottle that fits. Gluing a sport drink bottle works but if you spray thick fluid the bottle can burst under pressure.For the extra money buy one with the metal can included or if you plan to spray a product directly from its bottle just buy the system with the gun.I ended up throwing this away and getting a gun with a bottle.

Buy this gun along with the Astro 4538 Economy Air Undercoat Gun. Take the tip off of this gun and attach it to the Astro 4538. You will then be able to use the flexible nozzle for spraying cavities from this gun. So for $30 you will have one really nice gun! The HDX HOME DEPOT spray squirt water bottle fits the Astro gun very well as other's have pointed out.

I purchased this gun specifically for the flexible 360 spray attachment. For that it worked flawlessly to apply Fluid Film to my Jeep's inner frame rails and cavities . The other nozzle provided with the gun is a different story- it's no use to me because it lays the undercoating on so freaking thick. It'll spew out a quart of undercoating in no time. Adjusting air pressure up/down didn't work. Neither did varying how far the nozzle was screwed in. Oh well what do you want for 13 bucks? Finding a suitable container (I didn't want to order one) was relatively easy through trial and error...it has to be both tall enough for the draw tube and the correct size/thread to screw into the gun. Five stars for the flexible wand.

Used it to spray bar chain oil on my frame. Didn't need to heat up the oil. Used a guage to drop pressure down to about 60. Still a pretty messy job. I used a bottle similar to Simply Orange juice. It's supposed to use hard to find bottle

Nice product, as advertised. Has quick-disconnect air line, 2 nozzles: one hole on gun, 5-hole on hose. Be aware no material bottle is enclosed, and no mention on packaging of what thread it is. Have NOT found anything to fit yet.

Very bad, the gun doesnt fit any type of under coating container. Had to cut up a plastic jug and retro fit it to the gun with duct table and cable ties.. as the undercoating was alreasdy mixed piror to discovering nothing fit the gun..and i had limited time before the mix was unusable. the gun also cant push the undercoating thru the hose that comes with..it just gets stuck and builds up pressure in the jug, expelling the coating out the vent pinhole and all over the user. Unless you know the exact product this gun fits, dont buy it. It wont fit autobahn,raptor or any similar undercoating bed liner.

Price is great , been looking everywhere for a bottle for this, really odd . Someone said he used a quart bottle,
