I liked the pants they were just too small for me in the waist.

These were ALMOST perfect.
VH makes the most flexible, comfortable dress pants ever. But their downfall is that they don’t make short inseams. Being big and not super tall at 5’9 makes pants shopping difficult. If only I could get a 28 inseam out of them as a brand. I don’t want to have to mend every single pair I get from them. The room and material is great, but I wish they would expand their inseam horizons

Very weak seams. Good fit.
I've worn these pants for close to 4 years now. Was thinking about buying more. Not necessarily because of the quality but I was hoping the price was still low.The pants have lasted in terms of the fabric. They recently started to get discolored which is pretty amazing considering the length of time and frequency that I've worn them. That being said the fit was also good. The only problem, which is a pretty big problem, is that I've had to re-stitch multiple seams all over the place. From the crotch to the in-seam along both legs. And to be clear, they fit loosely so i'm not willing to take the blame for the tearing. No, it didn't happen 3 years in. The seams were coming apart for no apparent reason from the first few months. I restitched them myself and doubled down to reinforce where they were ripping.Again the only reason i'm thinking about buying them again is they're pretty cheap and I know what to do to reinforce the problem before it starts.

Excellent Pants
My go-to pants for the last 5 years have been Levi Dockers Men's Classic Fit Signature Khaki Lux Cotton Stretch Pants. I have about 15 pair and I cycle through them four times before I dry clean them - once every three months. Then I noticed that Amazon is selling Van Heusen pants for 25% lower price, $36 vs $50 for the Dockers, in a large variety of sizes including my size which is 40W x 34L. The Van Heusen pants are Poly/Rayon/Spandex vs. Cotton for the Dockers so I wasn't sure how they would feel compared to the Dockers but, I thought I would give them a try. A few days later the pants arrived and the first thing I noticed is that to my surprise they came out of the plastic bag without a wrinkle. I also noticed that the interior of the pants are nicely finished with a red lining covering all the seams on the inside of the pants which you see typically in more expensive dress pants. Trying them on they fit perfectly around the waist and had some stretch to them. The button and clasp closure at the waist is nicely done and the pants have some extra belt loops compared to the Dockers. The material felt very light and comfortable compared to the stiffer heavier Dockers. The only downside thing I noticed is that for me they run a little long. So I returned them for one size shorter 40W x 32L which fit perfectly. So all in all these pants are not only a great value, but fit perfectly, are wrinkle resistant, and feel light and comfortable all day in the office. Time to retire the Dockers and replace them with Van Heusen.
