The cards are a pretty normal thickness of cardstock. This means that they should last, but can be bent somewhat easily when slapping down. Sleeves would not be required, but could help with preserving the cards longer.

The similarity to Taco Cat Goat Cheese Pizza comes with the action cards, where when an action card shows up, all players do the action and can then slap down an additional card!
