It sharpened my wax scraper to cut down on the amount of time taken to scrape the wax off.

Its really just a rasp in a 90 degree guide. Works well but I think its a bit expensive for what it is.

Sharpens scraper perfectly.
Does what its supposed to perfectly. Scraper now scrapes again. A must have.

Better than nothing
This does an ok job and is certainly better than NOT sharpening your scraper. But the file gets clogged easily with plastic and it can take quite a bit of force to run the sharpener through the file.

Great value. Needed. Works.
I live in an apartment so solutions like belt deck sanders are out. Considering cost, weight and ease of use I find this plexi scraper a needed addition to the ski tool box. I wish I had a shop with a work bench I could mount it permanently. That would be lovely. But I don't so I mounted it to a small piece of birch plywood so I could hold the scraper down with my left hand as I sharpen with my right. I reversed the small panzer file so it sharpens as you pull, not push. I find this gives better results. Talked a buddy into buying one as well. He's glad he did. Dull plexi scrapers make the already boring job of waxing miserable. Keep em sharp.

works fine for what it is
good quality but a little bit of a pain to use. would recommend a large panzer file or an electric sharpener for commercial use. this is fine for the casual waxer. make sure to flip and rotate the scraper in the sharpener between passes to get the sharpest edge you can before scraping.

You need this!
Scraping wax with a dull scraper is a pain. This little sharpener has helped me keep my scrapers sharpened and made the job faster, more effective, and overall more enjoyable. Screwed it on my workbench so it's right there when I need it. No need to buy new scrapers all the time, just keep using the ones you already have.

ホットワックス後のスクレーピングに際し、スクレーパ－が用を成さなくなる対策として購入。効果は抜群。使いやすい。お勧め。使う際には、ある程度しっかりした台座にビス止めして使うと正確に角付けできる。

ちょっと小さい
ファイル部分が短いのでスクレーパーのエッジをフラットに研ぐのは難しいです。長いファイルにファイルガイドをつけて使った方が、おそらく正確にエッジを出せるように思いますが大きな波ファイルは高価なので、とりあえずこれで無いよりかましだと思います。

平らに削るのは難しい。
シーズンは毎日削って毎日ワックスしていました。スクレイパーの削り面がまっすぐじゃなくなりました。一年に一回はスクレイパーを面だしして使用した方がいいと思います。まっすぐ削るのが難しい！
