An exquisite 8 piece nativity set hand carved and hand painted in the Val Gardena valley in northern Italy, an area with a 400 year tradition of woodcarving. Designed by E. Kostner and hand carved from lindenwood and carefully hand painted, these nativity figures are small works of art. The statues includes tiny details like the touches of gold, careful accents and the exquisite painting of the faces. Set includes the following pieces: Mary, Manger, Baby Jesus, Joseph, Donkey, Ox, One lying sheep, Hand crafted wood creche.
