was easy to install, which is good because now I have to do it again, motor is non-functioning just after about 3 weeks. If you are repairing/replacing this for any application, do yourself a favor and spend a little more for a better quality longer lasting motor.

This motor arrived on Memorial day weekend and saved my butt. I had a motor fail and was going to have to have a service call to fix it since I was leaving town the day after Memorial Day. I was able to order this motor on a Saturday and it showed up on Memorial Day! So far it has been working flawlessly. The only small issue for me was that since it is a "universal" replacement, it has an extra long shaft. On the small outdoor unit it was going in, I had to cut the shaft down to clear the compressor. A quick pass with a cut-off wheel, a little clean up with the grinder and I was in business.

Used this as a replacement motor in my A/C condenser. Direct replacement, Working great.

We were without AC for 3 days and our home was 90 degrees indoors. My wife has a medical condition where she can’t control her body temperature. I took our AC apart and noticed this part was very old and I looked on Amazon to replace it. The package arrived within a day, I installed it and now we have a working air conditioner. BTW I am not an AC technician and know NOTHING about AC units and I was able to problem solve and get what my family needed within a day! Thanks Amazon!
