Due to the normal presbyopia that comes with getting older, I am one of those people with piles of reading glasses of different powers for different purposes: very close work with my hands, book reading, and computer screens. I usually have the “computer” power hanging around my neck with the other two nearby. Additionally, I am a hiker and ride horses so I need to have glasses with me in a variety of situations. So I’ve been through a LOT of lanyards. I bought brands named after the over-the-counter glasses; some sold at REI that seemed more rugged; and even tried the ones that cover the the arms (temples) like socks. That last one was a no-go for me… too uncomfortable. The others would work well for awhile but then would fray or fall apart.I stumbled over this brand doing a search, read the reviews, and decided to try them. These really are the best! I have been able to change the lanyards from one pair of glasses to another and the rubber part that hugs the temples never stretches out of shape. They are so long-lasting I have yet to have one go bad and I have had them in constant daily use for at least six months.Highly recommend!(PS: the amazing executive assistant I work near at my office is also a true believer…she buys them as presents for friends and family when they start needing reading glasses!)

At last, after years of trying various lanyard attachment gimmicks to keep reading glasses at the ready around my neck, I finally found Peeper Keepers. The loop, loop and spring, and clip variations always catch on something and the glasses pull off and come crashing to the ground. Not Peeper Keepers. Their innovative slotted rubber ends go on easily, are comfortable to wear, and do NOT come off unless you intend to remove them. Congratulations to OptiSource on the perfect solution!
