I used to have a different brand one but I lost it. Got this one, good price, it actually works really well. The only thing I don't like is if you don't have music playing, just have it hooked up for GPS or just on the tape but silent... you'll hear a clicking noise... so having the music higher then normal is best. I have sensitive ears so maybe it's not as bad as I'm making it sound. But I just wanted to warn you. :) the cord is super long, so backseat people can have their stuff plugged in and control it.. the only thing I would change is .. well the clicking.. and also the cord color. It's bright red.... I love red, but I feel like it's a flag if I forget to put it away after a long day of work or something...

It is clearly hard to expect a hi-fi quality from a Cassette Tape adapter. But for 11 bucks it costed in Jan17 I expected something worth it.Pros:An obsolete cassette player, that cannot be thrown away yet, keeps playing music.It has the necessary spinning gear (noisy) that fools a cassette player into thinking that a real tape is inserted.Cons:Small and cheap electromagnetic head, very poor sound quality. I found an old cassette adapter made by Sony. Wow what a difference in sound quality. I immediately logged in and downgraded from 3 stars to 1.Misalignment of the magnetic heads causes imbalance between the channels. Left channel looses strength.Average-minus build quality: noisy plastic gear inside the cassette makes sure you keep your volume high. The plug started falling apart after 1 month but it's still functional.

I am very unhappy with this product. Looking at the image of this product I thought the cable and 3.5 mm plug seemed like good quality, better than the typical cheap wiring used in these types of products than can easily break from too many bends or whatnot. Unfortunately after I received this product and tested it for the first time I began hearing a lot of static interference and the volume would randomly change on its own. I believed this to be because of the stereo itself, until I tested out a a different cassette adapter made by a different company and heard a crisp, clear sound which did not vary at all. Do not be deceived by the red colored cable and the apparent metal reinforced plug, this is a low quality product and will result in low quality sound.

Got a bad one. The head is visibly off kilter and there's no to low left channel balance.The product picture is inaccurate. It shows the head with upper AND lower magnetic senders (2 channels each) which means that the cassette can be played in reversible cassette players. That's why I bought this. However, there's only one magnetic sender. But to the good, this cassette adaptor is reversible. The product descriptions and pictures don't show it, but it has a groove along the top that means the cassette can be flipped.However, an still returning it due to misalignment. I'd like to hear stereo out of my stereo sound system.

This product worked so well for me. I was tired of using FM car transmitter and I heard that this product was an excellent alternative. I am happy to say that this product works great. It works just fine. I had read some reviews that said there was a "clicking" sound that sometimes occurred but I haven't had that happen to me at all. The cord is a little thin and I can see how it might "wear down" easily but once again that hasn't happened to me at all.This product was very reasonably priced and arrived ready to use. I have it my car and use it everyday while driving. Very happy with this purchase.

Works great! Clear sound! Did not think these worked in my car, had tried a similar one a few years ago and the cassette player would spit it right out! Happened to learn that that can happen if the little wheels in the cassette don't spin fluidly enough. Tried again with this thing and voilà - perfect! Now my beloved old car and I can keep up with the times

Went to reorder this from my previous orders, and I didn't notice it was shipped to me by a different seller this time. The new,one I receieved is terrible quality and I can hardly hear the sound, it's very muffled.

Do not buy. Received item on time but waited too long to try it and missed the return window. Unfortunately it does not work. It is super loud and makes a lot of clicking sounds that's louder than the music I'm trying to hear.
