The door to my garage would open by itself anytime someone didn't latch it good. I replaced all three hinges and now it closes by itself. After the first couple of days, I had to adjust the hinges tighter. It is easy to adjust them.

If you have a heavy door, you'll definitely need more than 1 self-closing hinge! Hole pattern matched perfectly, so replacement was easy. Adjustment was simple, too. Best to match tension on all 3 hinges one position at a time, increasing tension as needed until desired closing result is achieved.

Holes lined up perfectly. I did substitute a few longer screws for strength. Easy to adjust. Now when the dog is outside she can push the door open, come in and it closes behind her. No more getting up to shut the door after she runs in. It shuts the door completely so the latch and lock engage. Probably one hinge would of done it but I installed all three before I knew that so three it is.

Much better quality than from any of the big box stores. They are well finished and look expensive. Will buy again in our next home. An exact fit in a 2000 built Dell Webb home which has low quality, track home hardware. Great price.

Love these! Just what I was looking for! Easy to install, can be adjusted to a soft close. People always leaving pantry door and laundry room door open. So nice to have them automatically close!
