Grind area, mix the two parts then sand and paint! That’s about it!
Quality proven product! Second time using the gray but I have read that the white seems to be easier to work with. Not sure on that. I’ve been impressed with repairs on fiberglass (one repair below the waterline on cracked exhaust collector) .Worked great!

This is great stuff!
I've learned about Marine-tex from a boat mechanic years ago and have used it for many different boat repairs. Mix it well and let it cure according to instructions, it's like epoxy on steroids.

Black not grey
It is a great product and I have used the white many times. Purchased the grey and was a bit annoyed that it is really black.

Great stuff
How easy it is to work with and how strong it is i have used marine tex for many years going back to when I was young and seeing my father make repairs on boat motors

Worked just as described
Easy application, but stiff enough to not sag out of filled holes. Much easier than mixing up a batch of thickened epoxy and easier to sand.

It's like tar and it's black
This is some gooey stuff. It really doesn't handle like putty, more like tar. It hardens pretty well if you use the right amount of hardener. Too little and it stays a little soft.I can tell you the "gray" is not gray... it's jet black. Comes out black and hardens black.
