One arrived broken. The other had little more heat than a regular incandescent and nothing like a properly red french fry light. I returned them. Stars are for the painless Amazon return.

The bulbs were completely shattered when they were delivered. 😕

Donated to local high school for agriculture class. Teacher was pleased.

GE makes very good bulbs! OK, maybe this heat lamp does not heat up area as quickly as a 1500 watt forced hot air unit, but this bulb is much more energy efficient. And Broan or NuTone fixture works on a 15 amp circuit. Very satisfied with price and purchase.

Using it for restaurant food heat lamp. Keeping the food warm.
