Works great!! I used this to redo a wooden table. For my last sanding I needed some fine grained sanding paper. I mostly used the 2500 and 3000. All sanding was done with plain water, i.e. I first soaked the paper in water for a minute. It curled up but once installed tightly on your sanding device it's no problem. I kept adding water so it just stayed 'slushy' and not produce dry residues. At the end I polished with some car polish (Meguiar M205). I am not sure if this was the best polish but the shine is excellent and the table looks a lot better than when we bought it and there is no comparison to the state it was in after sitting outside for a couple of years. The other grains are useful as you work your way up to the 300 grain paper. I already had that so I didn't use the one from this set.
