Q: Would it still work while it is connected to the charger?

Even if something will run while charging -DONT. It reduces the batteries ability to hold a charge permanently (Think back to high school chemistry)

Q: How long does it take to charge?

The paperwork that comes with the Aeroslim recommends 3.5 hours but mine was partially charged when I got it. It holds a charge very well and I only use it for small jobs. I really like that it does not take up much space and works like a dream.

Specs are hidden. Makes you wonder about Bissel's integrity. After extensive searching: Pa: still a mystery, not listed Wattage: 1,250W Noise: 84dB Voltage: 7.4 Volts (listed elsewhere at 3.7, which is senseless) Amperage: 7.2 Amps Charge Time: 2.5 to 3.5 hours Run Time: ONLY 15 minutes
