I can leave it and go away with out worry.
This is an awesome fermenter. I can go away and not worry about my cabbage. One thing thou. It take more like 3 weeks to make good tasting kraut.Just keep an eye on the fluid if it gets low just add Lemmon juice. If you let it ferment for 3 weeks it’s the perfect 4.6 acidity. 4 days is just not long enough. But I recommend this fermenter highly. I’ve done 6 quart size bottle. I also have had a few classes on how to make kraut using perfect pickler.

pickles AND sauerkraut!
I have had the original Perfect Pickler from several years ago and needed to add additional. of course they change things so you can't find such as what you have. This seems very close and a bargain. Time for sauerkraut. Easy to use, just follow the directions, and the proper ingredient ratio.

I began my first batch of sauerkraut and used the perfect pickler. It seems to be doing exactly what it should be doing. It is reassuring to know that air is not getting back into my mason jar.

Great introduction to pickling
I suppose I could put this together myself much more cheaply but it makes a perfect gift. Give the gift of an introduction to the surprisingly tasty, surprisingly easy world of pickles. Califlower, carrots, saurkraut, cucumbers--they have all been excellent. I haven't used it for my Kimchi but will likely try at some point.

So easy! And thank you for the great instruction & recipe booklet. I go online to his site & all the more .... easy~peasy! Get this -- you won't regret it. Not one bit of mold in my kraut. This is certainly a keeper!
