Well made jacket with great attention to detail, if you already have a separate Berghaus jacket liner from another same make jacket of the same size, it will fit this jacket. Decent side pocket that will hold a fold out map, large phone in a pocket that isn’t easy for a thief to access. Two other side pockets & fold out hood. Great for a cold winter & without the liner, ideal for warmer days.

Early days yet but this jacket has the appearance of being a good piece of kit. At six foot three, I often find waterproofs too short but this is just about right. The construction is sturdy with a good waterproof front zip & storm flap. Plenty of adjustment to the concealed hood to cater for all weathers including wind driven hail etc. Waist & hem adjustments to insulate against wind or take account of lower clothing layers. The double zip enables a compatible fleece to be integrated with the jacket for additional warmth. As expected of Berghaus Gortex lined clothing this is a quality item.There are only three pockets which some may find insufficient however all three are quite large & I am satisfied there is room enough to carry what I need when wearing this jacket. I have heard some criticism regarding the lack of underarm ventilation but since I have yet to wear the jacket in anything like warm weather I can't really comment on whether this will be a factor in my personal assessment.
