One of my main questions still. hasn't been answered and I'm someone with over 20 years on a Panaflex camera. How to make the camera fit like glove??

Hi, Thank you for interesting in SmallRig. This cage is dedicated designed for Sony ZV-E10, and it's fully formfitting for the camera, and not block any access of the camera. It fixes the camera via a 1/4"-20 screw at the bottom and further with an included anti-deflection lock to prevent twisting.
