Perfect replacement for 5 stage system
Appears to be a good quality replacement carbon filter for my 5 stage water filtration system and replacing all the filters fixed my low flow water problem, even though it had only been a year since it was installed.

It works
It does what it is suppose to but after 3 months of use in a 220 ppm total dissolved solids tap water, I changed the first 3 stages due to taste of water and there was a lot of carbon that leaked from the canister into the system. Now I have to change the membrane. Next time I might spend a bit more on this stage filter

Useless
I got these activated carbon filters, because of a bad odor and taste from the city water supply. Apparently our source lake developed an algae bloom causing the water to be tainted (although the city says the bad odor/taste is not harmful).A pitcher carbon filter works fine, but is slow and does not help washing hands or using water for cooking. These filters are junk. No improvement at all. I would say these filters are good only to filter out sediments, and useless for removing odors or bad tastes.I ordered a different brand and instantly got odorless water!

Works as good as the expensive ones.
Works on my whole house filter. I change them twice a year.
