AVEDA Light Elements Smoothing Fluid 3.4 oz Smooths Frizz and Restores a Healthy Look to All Hair Types

This product is the best I have found for frizzy hair. It moisturizes and tames down my hair without weighing it down. It's a little pricy but it lasts a long time and is therefore, worth the money.

Aveda's smoothing lotion is a really good product. You only need to use a couple of pumps of this clear, non sticky, odorless liquid. Don't get me wrong, you will need to wash it off of your hands, but it does not leave a heavy coating on your hair. In fact, you put it on when our hair is wet and then finish styling as normal. (I just blow dry and brush mine). It leaves your hair soft and frizz free without leaving it heavy and flat. What more can you ask?

I have chemically treated hair and purchased this originally as something to put in wet, towel-dried hair... the decision to purchase was mainly based on the fact that I like the scent of Aveda products and this had the word "lotion" in the name, which brings to mind a thicker moisturizer. I didn't find this sufficient for that purpose, because it has a very light serum-like texture. HOWEVER, because of those qualities it is FANTASTIC in already dry hair, almost as a finishing product- but it is not clear & thick like most shine adding finishing products. I often find that those clear, thick finishing products can leave hair looking heavy & greasy with even a small amount. This product is great though- I don't think I have ever used "too much" and can liberally apply to dry looking ends.

It smooths your hair

My hair is very thick, coarse and in the process of changing to gray which has a tendency to do it's own thing. This is the best product I have ever used to tame my mane. I gave my sister enough shampoo to give it a try and she had the same experience, amazed with how smooth her hair felt and how easy it was to keep it looking nice after using the products. In the past I had problems with Aveda products attracting bees but that seems to have taken care of as I haven't noticed the first bee buzzing around.

With lots of coloring, blow drying, flat ironing my hair I have "crunchy" ends. This is the best product for smoothing out crunchy ends! The smell is nice as well. I'm on ky second bottle & bought some for 2 of my daughters & we are all very happy. While the bottle directions say for wet or dry hair, I recommend putting on after blow drying to dry hair & only on the "crunchy" ends.

I thought it was a spray. It's not. It's an oil you have to rub into your hair. It was $58. Exactly like something I use called "Shine"-for $10. I wanted to return it but with a 20% restocking fee plus shipping it is more wasted money.
