Q: can i heat a cup of coffee in it saves the use of a microwave????

No. And the microwave would be cheaper.

Q: I purchased this for my daughter however she only realised today that the grill tray is missing. Is it possible to obtain a replacement ?

I would contact the company. It’s worth chasing up as I use this all the time. The grill works well and of course saves on fuel.

Q: My Saute setting has recently stopped working it heats up but the timer doesn't move at all ?

The steamer works a treat . I use the main section for steaming vegetables til timer finnishes then I switch over to the grill which technically is the same as the Saute when pressing for the timer you must make sure the temperature is correctly set for sequince then move over to timmer for what you are cooking cook. There should be a manual explaining the menu buttons on how they work plus the back pages give you short cuts on problem solvings
