Martin Hall is an excellent instructor. I always watch his show, School of Golf on the Golf Channel. This book is another way in which Martin is able to pass along his great experience in an understandable and duplicatable way. The pictures of Seve Ballesteros are great. This book is a must for all and will help master the scoring clubs of the sort game.

The book is good, depending on what you are looking for. It is not a general golf instruction book. It deals with specific golf shots. Martin Hall's descriptions and instructions are very clear. I would use the book as a reference, select 1-2 shots at a time to work on. I was disappointed in the illustrations…looked like a 60 year old bool with fuzzy B&W photos.

Very helpful descriptions, and well illustrated with photos. Martin Hall really breaks down the techniques, and complements this will drills to reinforce your practice.

This sort of thing cries out for video. It is easy to see why the original project never went forward. Still photos just don't give the reader a true understanding of technique in a book which attempts to show us "how to".

There a lot of shots an amature will not Likly master but a few we all should.It reminds us all just how good Sevi was and just how good Martin is.

Martin Hull has done an excellent job in describing these shots and how to execute them. This will help you get out of trouble and lower your scores.
