Static Nails Reusable Pop-on Manicure Set, Lagoon & Stone, Grey Blue

First picture: Oct. 3Second picture: Oct. 25Third picture: Nov. 17Fourth picture: TODAY (Nov. 24)...When I first put them on, I was in LOVE: the length and color were beautiful and natural looking, they stayed on through my whole trip, washing dishes, washing my kinky hair, etc. Then I soon found that the problem is that they stayed on TOO well. I put them on over my gel manicure because the instructions say that they stay “longer” on gel (and I read too many reviews saying that they don’t stay long on natural nails). THERE NEEDS TO BE A WARNING THAT THE GLUE ADHERES *PERMANENTLY* TO GEL!!! I tried the soaking removal instructions on the box, but since it’s stuck to the gel and not my nail - no luck! My natural nails were short (to the tips of my fingers) when I put them on, and by the time I finally got them all off they were longer than the fake nails. For weeks they grew out horrendously with only a few “popped” (more like ripped) off - and yes, as you can see my natural nails also ripped off with them causing severe damage. What I thought would be the end-all-be-all solution to expensive manicures has turned out to be more damaging and painful than when I used to wear acrylics. :(...Honestly, I would try them again on bare nails, but I’m kinda traumatized so that won’t happen for a long, long time.

Love these nails. I've tried a few different companies and Static Nails has been the highest quality and seem like actual nails vs. plastic. Their styles are very modern and stylish and does not look tacky. In addition, the application was so simple and the glue lasts a long time if you seal it property takes literally 3-5mins with slight filing.

I was a bit skeptical about these but decided to give them a try (canvas color). I followed the instructions very closely — cleaning my nails with polish remover AND buffing them a bit before applying the nails. I also added glue to both my nail and the static nails. I held each down in place for at least 25 seconds. They were a bit difficult to get the hang of, and i did have a couple stick to my fingers which were a loss since the glue got on the actual nail. Two popped off within the first day, however, one was definitely because i used a nail on my pinky that was too small so it must have been pulling and two, one that popped off was on one of my nails that was super super short and i should’ve spent more time applying that one. These are some of the shorter Static Nails options but they were still WAY too long for me. So i spent a loooong time filing them down once i was sure they were dry. It has been almost 4 days since applying them and no more have popped off! They still look great and feel very (surprisingly) sturdy. I open cans of cat food twice a day and am always afraid this will bring them flying off but not yet. Again, filing them short clearly helps! I also do a lot of cooking and washing hands in warm water and this hasn’t affected them. We will see how long they actually last and I’ll try to update this post. I do feel the need to carry the glue with me just in case!

Unfortunately they removed the glue. Essentially I paid the same price if I would have bought this through Static Nails however this didn not come with the glue. Only came with the nails. Don’t get ripped off. Just go to static nails.

I love these nails. I ordered the lagoon&stone nails. They came as a slightly different shape than in the picture but they are very pretty. I have gotten so many compliments on them in a matter of two days. The glue has a super strong hold. As soon as I put them on they felt super secure and no matter what I do they don’t move a cm. It’s also super easy to take off and does not damage the nail if you apply correctly. When I first applied them I applied one nail crooked. I soaked it in a cup of warm water for a few minutes and i lifted the sides and it came off easily with no damage. I reapplied the same nail so they are reusable. The only thing is that when I first applied them I felt some pain in my nailbeds. I don’t know if it’s because of the way I applied them or if it’s a common thing. The pain went away after a day though. I usually use the impress press on nails which I love, but whenever I run my hands through my hair they would always get caught. These nails don’t do that and it’s great! I highly recommend these nails!

The color is beautiful and the nails are very shiny and nice. However, they are extremely long and claw like so they required a lot of reshaping to make sure they look natural. Unlike other acrylic nails, these look and feel very plasticy. I wore them twice and I found that the ends were warping and splitting like cheap plastic packaging. Additionally, I wouldn’t call these nails long lasting. Using all the glue application techniches for extended wear, I never got more than 12 hours out of these nails. They fall off randomly throughout the day and if you aren’t diligent about collecting and reapplying them, you are stuck with a trashy half-on acrylic manicure.

I ordered the peony nails, but I received a glossy pink coffin shaped nail instead. I didn’t notice until half way through the application process when I remembered that I had ordered the almond shaped nail, and had to go back and double check my account to confirm. Even though they sent the wrong product, I still think this brand is great and I’ve been wearing them for 4 days now with only one thumb popping off after I jammed it accidentally. Reapplication is easy! I only had to shape them a little at the base to get a perfect fit, and I ended up adding a coat of matte polish to make them more low-key. I do wish I had the Peony set though!

Great quality. Easy to trim. Easy to apply. I did notice that adding nail polish on it or nail polish remove deforms the nail top. Still. Looks very natural and worth using as long as you don’t coat with anything.

Easy to put on and liked that it came with a nail file.
