WOW
TL;DR: run don't walkThis is hands down the very best hair dryer I have ever used. I have had other pricey hair dryers and they don't hold a candle to this one. Yes, it is a big investment, but if you're serious about your hair care or if you have high maintenance hair that requires a lot to look even decent (my situation), it is so worth it.My most recent hair dryer before this one is the L'ange and I loved it, but I bought it when I was routinely styling my hair straight (I have curly hair) and their diffuser is your standard stuff. I have been on my curly hair journey to start styling my hair curly again and heard a lot of skuttlebutt about the diffuser on this hair dryer. The claims about the amazingness of the hair dryer itself plus the diffuser for curly gals is what sold me on trying it. I can confirm that the hair dryer is amazing no matter what attachment you use, and if you're a curly hair gal, the diffuser and hair dryer performance is even better than I thought it would be. My hair dries so much faster with less speed and less heat. This cuts down on heat damage, my curls are more intact, my hair is shinier, and now I am not sweating my butt off when I'm done drying my hair. The attachments are also so easy to use.I did see complaints about the weight of this hair dryer but I don't think it's heavy at all. Most high quality hair dryers are heavier than cheaper ones and this hair dryer is lighter than my L'ange was even with the big diffuser on. I suppose the weight could be an issue for someone with limited strength/mobility, but no more than any other good quality hair dryer.

Powerful Dryer
I have been using this dryer for 7 months and wanted to review so that people will be sure the clean this dryer regularly. I have very think shoulder-length hair and shampoo about twice a week. I am a former hair stylist, so have a lot of experience with blow dryers. The last month or so I had been regretting buying this dryer, as I didn't think that it was really any better than the ones I paid $70 for in the past. It had gotten to where the dryer would just shut off. I had brushed the vent off, thinking that it might have something to do with that. Finally the other day I went to the website to check the warranty and pulled up the trouble shooting on this. The intake screen on the back of the dryer cannot be removed (this would be something that I would highly suggest the manufacturer change) for cleaning. It is the finest screen I have ever seen on a dryer. Like I said, I have cleaned it with a nail brush several times. On the troubleshooting, it says that you need to take a q-tip dipped in soapy water and wipe down the vent, then use a q-tip dipped in plain water to "rinse" it, let it dry for 24 hours. I did that and this morning when I did my hair, it was night and day difference. The power was crazy and my hair dried in a fraction of the time. I think with regular use, the flow declines a little at a time, so it's not noticeable until it gives you a problem. I would highly suggest that you clean this once a month as described above to keep this thing in top performance like the day you bought it. Again I would suggest the company make this vent so that it can be removed for soaking and cleaning.

The diffuser is EVERYTHING!
I used to think a $50 hairdryer was expensive, so getting this was quite an investment. My stylist recommended it to me when we found ourselves discussing Shark vacuums of all things.I have short (above the shoulders) wavy/curly hair and a lot of it. My hair has a mind of its own and is notoriously difficult to work with, even for seasoned pros. I’ve always needed to air dry to get my natural curls because using a hairdryer, even with a diffuser, would cause my hair to puff (literally double in size), frizz, and even lose its curl, despite using multiple curl-defining serums, creams, and gels. But air drying is so unpredictable and takes HOURS. My hair would still be at least 60% wet after 4 hours, for example.I decided to give diffusing with this dryer a go because I needed to justify spending the money on it. OH. MY. GOODNESS. My hair dried exactly how it was placed. No puffing. No frizzing. Just defined curls and waves.I’m ecstatic. A new era of my life has been unlocked! I no longer have to plan my hair washing days around needing to air dry. I no longer have to worry about hair unpredictability. On days when I don’t wash, I can just get my hair a little damp and reset it with the diffuser. At the risk of sounding dramatic, this purchase has been life-changing. I’m feeling confident about my hair for the first time in a long time, and it feels oh-so good.

Not a bad product
I'll start by saying a currently have a Babyliss dryer so that is what I am comparing this to. I normally would not spend this much on a blow dryer but the price was good on Prime Day so I thought I would give it a try.Pros - I like the way the attachments fit onto the dryer. They are easy to get on and off and stay put. I also like the way you can rotate them very easily. I used the concentrator and it was helpful to rotate it based on where I was drying and also to control the concentration level. The noise level is also pretty low - very different from a standard dryer. More of a hiss then the hard blowing sound. I have a lot of hair and it is neither straight or curly. I have never been able to get it sleek enough with just a dryer and always have to follow up with the straightener. This did a decent job but really no different than my current dryer.Cons - This baby is HEAVY. I could not get over how heavy it was. This was really the deciding factor in returning it. I couldn't deal with using it for 15 min. I also tried the brush and it did not work for me. It did not hold my hair in place and it blew around. I do not have fine hair so I was a bit surprised by this.Overall, for me, it was not worth the hefty price tag, even with the Prime Day special and I returned it. My Babyliss works just as good, is far lighter and the price much more managable.
