Do these connect together, like can you take them apart?

I wouldn’t say you can link them together. They have several points of articulation, or movement. Which allows you to pose them in several different poses, such as holding the microphone. You could possibly pose them to be holding hands or attacking another figure, but they are not easily disassembled and we’re not intended to be disassembled by the manufacturer. Do the arms and legs pop off too easily?

Not too easily, fairly easy. It was easy enough for my 4yr old to pop off and put back together on his own. Not too easy enough that you put it together and it falls back apart.
