Battery savers !
We have a couple of older-model cars that often aren't started for many weeks (when we're away from home). For both, the battery ran down, and the car wouldn't start. I bought an (excellent) charger, but that fixes the immediate problem - it doesn't prevent the problem from recurring. Both cars are left outside, so I didn't want to try trickle-charging using a standard electric charger. I did try solar trickle-charging, but that didn't completely prevent the discharge. So, I installed these. Took about 10 minutes to install. I rotated the green handle, to disconnect, and tested using a multimeter. First, I tested red terminal against black terminal - reading was 12.7V (pretty much as expected). Then, I tested red terminal against the "far side" of this disconnector and, to my chagrin, I still saw a voltage reading. It was low (about 1.5V), but FAR higher than I had expected. Happened on both cars. Jiggling the disconnectors didn't do anything. HOWEVER, I left them for an hour, then re-rested - and now it was down to either zero, or very close to zero. And three weeks later, they're still doing well (red vs black, 12.6V).Of course, one disadvantage of this approach is that when you disconnect, you lose all of the "car computer" settings. So, if I turned the green knob, and reconnected, then took the car for a smog test, it wouldn't pass. I would have to drive it far enough for the things to reset. But as long as you're aware of that, then these things are great.

Faster than using a wrench, great battery quick disconnect.
What a time saver this is. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who has a car, boat, RV, what ever uses a battery for sure.Make it way faster an easier to disconnect the battery especially when working on any electrical wire in your car for sure. A quick spin of the handle an it's off. Spin it back an it's on, it's that easy.

Works perfectly
Used one on my 1967 Chevy. Like to disconnect battery since I don’t drive it right now. I had one of the blade type disconnects on it and they loosen over time. This works really well and doesn’t take up as much space as the older one I was using

Does one job and does it well
Simple, safe, and effective. Solves the problem of a battery going dead from so-called "parasitic" drain. By design, all modern cars draw a small amount of current at all times.

Hard to use
One of them has a very tight screw and once it shuts down, it is hard to turn on back. Maybe a defect...maybe I dont know how to use it. No operation manual provided......not good!
