Seven Dirty Secrets

This book was amazing. Kept me guessing at every turn, and the best part was I couldn’t put it down. I teach high school English Literature and is going to be one of our novel studies next year.

I thought it was a great read, if not a little predictable. But did anyone else’s copy have several typos and what seems like an editor’s note? My copy on page 305 has a line that says “Would she be more worried… OK if no, just noting that I did see this…” (edited for spoilers) I got a good laugh out of it!

I enjoyed this book and read it in one day because I couldn't put it down.I guessed over and over about who was sending the clues, and I was wrong every time. The ending was a total surprise to me.Living in Ohio and not too far from Columbus, it was also nice reading about places I have visited.

it is very predictable. I enjoyed the plot. The search for clues and the unraveling of the truth about that night. However, I mostly found the story predictable. The ending can be see a mile away and tbh the last 5 or so pages are extremely cheesy. A little disappointing because I would say the overall plot and buildup is a solid 4 stars. Had the ending not been so predictable, I would have given the book 5 stars.

Drags a bit with all the clues and flashbacks that kinda lose you, not the ending u would think was going to happen, but pretty decent of a read.

Just because the characters are not "Adults" doesn't mean that they have it easy and live carefree lives. Richards consistently writes one-sitting suspense. She has a way of making the readers think, whether it is about the situation or the characters, all are complex.

The suspense in this book was top tier. I felt like I couldn’t read it fast enough to find out how it would end. The scavenger hunt idea was really clever and helped to build the tension. I was suspicious of the villain for most of the book, but the reveal was still shocking. This book kept me on the edge of my seat. I was so invested in the outcome. The ending did not disappoint.

This is an easy and quick read for thriller/mystery fans. Not as gripping or invested as I would have liked

Good book. It was a quick read for me. Wasn’t anything that was too in-depth and deep that I had to really think about. Honestly, I figured out the plot and who was sending the letters from the beginning. However, I enjoyed the fast paced writing and decided to buy some more books by this author to see if I could figure out other plots to their novels.
