SnugpakJourney Quad Tent

Like most tents, the '4 person' rating is pretty optimistic. I'm sure that (technically) one could fit four people in the bedroom area however, they'd either have to be very good friends with each other or in a pretty sticky situation to do so voluntarily.That being said, the tent works extremely well for 2 people plus some gear or maybe three people at a pinch. The vestibule/living area is comfortably big enough for two people a couple of camping chairs and a small table and makes for an excellent area to sit and hide out from the rain. Putting up the tent is pretty simple (about 10 mins on my first attempt) and the included groundsheet is a most welcome addition. Taking the tent down and repacking it isn't as hard as it might be as the included bag is reasonably sized and doesn't require an advanced degree in origami to get everything folded 'just so' like so much other gear does.Although I haven't used it in anything approaching 'extreme' conditions yet - it coped very well with the inevitable British rain and blustery winds - everything appears sturdily constructed and I certainly look forward to many years of service from the tent.

The tent is amazing! I’ve been looking everywhere for something like this and it fits all my needs! The vestibule is such a. Amazing feature as I keep most of my backpacking gear in there and just sleep inside the tent with plenty of room to spare.In the morning I’d sit in my chair with the tent doors open and it feels like I’m inside a room. It says not to cook under it but I didn’t have any problems.Only con I would say is that it doesn’t have detailed instructions on how to setup the tent so it was trial and error to figure the best way to get it to sit properly but once a it’s up, its the beat tent I could as for!

ネットで国内外レビューを探しましたが見当たらず…散見できる情報を頼り思い切って購入。Amazon経由でクアドリフォリオさんから購入…決めては価格！使用感は…想像していたよりも広く3人なら縦でも横でも快適に眠れそう！設営も楽ですし、重さも約5kgと車無しキャンプの個人的にはギリギリOKといった所で前室も広く、写真の3枚目…左側にあるのはmont-bellのウィーリーダッフル100ですが余裕で収まった上でサイドの出入り口から問題なく出入りが可能。ただカマボコ型の宿命か…内側の結露は多かったと思います…川沿い渓谷なキャンプ場だったから？ベンチレーションはフライの前面左右に1ヶ所ずつ、後面に1ヶ所インナーは入り口上部がメッシュにできて、奥側上部が常にメッシュの状態です。あと個人的にフライシートの柄がお気に入りです。4枚目の写真…柄はSnugpakのロゴかな？

I've had it set up in the yard for about a month now. Grand daughter loves it. good quality, nice design. This replaced a Scorpion 3 for my wife and I. My biggest "gripe" would be that it is only available in orange. I love that OD green that SnugPack has. Would buy again and recommend.I will update this rating at a later date if anything changes.

I'm returning this tent because it is too large for my uses, seems of great quality, but is about a 14.5ft by 8ft not including how far out you have to stake it (add a foot to each dimension. This is also not a freestanding tent - requires at least staking out the footprint and one extra in the back to setup (7 stakes just to get it to stand up). Would be great as a base camp type setup if you're leaving it in place for a few days, but the size and time to setup/tear down is too much to be a good family backpacking tent for me.
