Don't buy this. It broke yesterday the first time I used it. If it had not broke while I was just putting in on top of my jeep it would have surely ripped on the freeway and probably caused me way more heart ache.

Broke first time in use; going to contact company
One strap broke the first time I used it where the clip is sewn to the strap. Going to contact the company. Was able to make a knot, but disappointed.

I bought this item and carried my paddle board 20 miles both straps broke even though I bought the extra straps they recommended and used those too

Broke before use
This rack broke. I pulled the strap tightening it to the top of my car and it ripped. Glad it ripped while putting it on and not while driving with a board on my car! Returned it.

One of the strap broke the first time I tried to use these. Ripped right off by the buckle when I was tightening it. Thank goodness it happened before I was driving with my boards on the car.
