Great resource for beginners and advanced users - Full of examples
This book impressed me. The examples provided are really good in comparison to what we face in actual day-to-day challenges in the world of CI/CD. The first part of the book consists of structuring your CI/CD pipelines with the best scenario with required tests, scans, and deployments structure and of course all automated. Then, it explains how tekton works, how to install and use tekton, as well as how to use the command client and the dashboard. In all honesty, I had never used the dashboard until I read this book. Tekton has come a long way since its launch and the dashboard makes using it a breeze. The rest of the book has a plethora of great and useful examples for developing tasks, organizing them and putting them into a CI/CD pipeline. The amount of examples is the most valuable part of this book. After you read it, you can go further in the DevOps concepts.Tekton is a great addition to Kubernetes clusters, mostly because it is flexible to create tasks using any existing container and it will help you to not be attached to a Kubernetes provider. Once you have your CI/CDs tasks moved to Tekton you can easily switch to other cloud providers and be vendor-independent.

Solid Toolkit for Tekton Usage
I received an advance copy in exchange for an (honest) review.I've used Tekton before both within more complex setups like Jenkins-X and pure, raw Tekton. This book does an excellent job of making sure you know what you're doing but not necessarily burying you in the intricate complexities of this growing project. To me, this book will probably end up being the required reading for newer engineers I bring on using Tekton as it is good as both an introduction AND a reference.Overall, definitely worth getting your hands on if you have any desire to learn Tekton or if you already build with it and want a solid reference (beyond Tekton's excellent docs)

A great book to learn and use Tekton
I got this book from Packt directly but writing a review on Amazon. If you are interested in Tekton and learning about CI/CD system, this is a great investment. The author does a great job breaking down the key concepts and making it easily understandable. This is crucial, especially if you are new to Tekton as it can get complicated very quickly. I would highly suggest anyone who is a developer and interested in pipelines, especially on Kubernetes, read this book.
