Thank you for your question. Sandy conditions may have an adverse affect on Thule multisport trailers. The wheels are more designed for pavement or packed earth paths, so they will likely sink considerably into the sand, making it difficult to maneuver. In these cases, sand can enter the bearings or axles which may foul the wheel's movement.

Depends on your chariot model - this is just the wheels to convert it from a bike chariot to a stroller configuration.
