Wow! I l9ved this story! Such a horrible heartbreak to overcome! Poor Veronica! Maverick was the right man for the job!

This story shows the emotions after a tragedy, including growth. It is definitely a tear jerker a few times in the book. ❤️❤️

I couldn’t put it down! I cried the last few chapters and laughed. It was such an emotional ride and an incredible read. I finished it in one day.

The Consequence of Loving Me had me going through so many emotions. Kat Singleton created a beautiful, flawed, nuanced character with Veronica. She is a character who can create a multitude of strong feelings in readers. I felt love, empathy, sorrow, and at times, even a tiny bit of hate for Veronica. The way she is as a young adult, the way she deals with life, is very believable for how someone would handle the trauma she went through when she was younger. I loved Veronica. I also absolutely adored Maverick. He was an amazing character. Like with Veronica, Kat Singleton created a love interest that anyone would love and root for. He was refreshing, too, because he was kind and an all around good guy from the start. There was none of the usual jerk moves or man whore crap you get with the majority of male love interests today. Maverick was authentic and strong throughout the entire story. He was exactly what Veronica needed.I would love more from Maverick and Veronica, but I'm so excited about the books we will get with the side characters!!! The side characters from The Consequence of Loving Me were all remarkable in their own rights. I'm dying for more from them all.

I really enjoyed Kat's debut novel The Consequence of Loving Me. This story is about love, loss, forgiveness, and healing. Maverick and Veronica, how much love he has for her. The paintings that Mav bought, y'all that part of the book, SO good. This book is such a good read. Beautifully written. ❤

If I didn’t know this was a debut author going in, I couldn’t have guessed from reading this story! What a great read! Kat delivers a great plot, strong characters and solid development, awesome details, and jaw-dropping twists! I can’t wait to see what’s next!
