Waste of time + money
Given that the title of the book includes "conquering fixed point pitfalls", I was hoping for something that talked more about things to consider when converting things to fixed point, and possibly tricks involved. Something similar to "numerical recipes" books, which might provide some insight and tricks for different cases I might run into.Instead, there was very little of this. Chapter 2 explained some basics of operating on different numeric representations, a few tips on things to consider, and a couple useful tricks (for example how to approximate log base 2). It felt very beginner level, but if the whole book had been a more in depth version of chapter 2, I might have been ok with it.But instead, the rest of the book felt like a collection of very basic explanations of formulas for statistics and signal processing, with no relation to how to the nuances you might run into in calculating them or putting them on an fpga. If you have 0 background in signal processing and statistics, maybe this would be useful as a survey of "what exists" if you're too busy to click through wikipedia for a few hours. After the second chapter, issues in calculation are barely mentioned - I figured at a minimum there would be some mention of "gotchas" when dealing with fixed point representations in each formula - Nope. For a $100 book with this title, this was a massive disappointment and left me feeling pretty ripped off. Please either change the title or update the description to be more clear.

Good but,
Figure 90 is misising, and also the text about it

Not wat I expected
The book has some useful tips and general concepts, but it doesn't go very deep in either implementation or mathematics.
