Amy’s Low in Sodium Lentil soup is a staple in my house. It is very easy to use, and I often add a vegetable or two, such as edamame or baby spinach leaves. It’s lower in calories and sodium than Amy’s Low in Sodium medium-spicy organic chili, and it is not spicy at all. I like both, but I turn to this low-sodium lentil soup more often for a filling lunch. I typically eat the whole can, so I am glad the nutrition label gives both the per cup and per can details. I am not fooled by labels that show only the calories etc for an impossibly small serving size.

I was greatly surprised at the quality and taste of this Lentil soup. I purchased it for the high protein and fiber. I love Amy’s black bean chili and I thought that was the best until I tried this soup. I found that they now both my favorites. I added some onion, garlic salt and cayenne pepper spices to increase the flavor. My only con was that it could contain more of the veggies (potatoes, carrots, etc.). However, I can steam veggies and add these to the soup. It takes only 2 minutes to heat in the microwave. It is my new go-to food! I highly recommend it.NOTE: I did not get compensated in any way for my opinion.

I like the salty version better but still taste good. Very hearty. Reasonable price. Exp 2027No dents.

We love the soup and this is a fair price for it. The packing (done by Amazon, I believe) left a LOT to be desired. The packer was not well trained and put each case of soup on its side on opposite sides of the box with a small amount of bubble wrap between them. The plastic holding the cans into their short box broke and the cans bumped around during shipment. 5 cans arrived dented. Two are bad enough I am putting them in the refrigerator in case the can is actually pierced. It the two cases of soup had been set on top of each other, I doubt this would have happened because they would have had their own size/bulk supporting the cases and it would have been much more difficult for the plastic to break. Hence the cans would have been better protected. While I highly recommend the soup, Amazon needs to train staff better (or robots?) so orders arrive undamaged.

My mom is on a low sodium diet, but also loves soup. These Amy's "lighter in sodium" soups have been a godsend. Their chili is also great!

This lentil soup is very low in salt and all vegan organic ingredientsThe taste is a little bland. I add vegetables and or beans, seasonings and then the taste is excellent.I would highly recommend this lentil soap. High in protein, lowers blood pressure and many other health benefits.

5 of the cans were dented and I will not eat them. This has happened before with canned products. I would suggest not ordering canned goods .
