Q: Can I put this up with command strips? Living in an apartment that doesn't like anchors and what not.

You should be able to, but this is so light weight and really doesn't need to be anchored. I have mine up with two small nails into the sheetrock with four sets of keys and a lot of mail. It's still hanging. Hope this helps.

Q: Do you need a drill to mount it or will a screwdriver work?

A screwdriver will work. It comes with wall anchors, which allow it to hold a fair amount of weight. So, you will need a hammer to do the wall anchors, and then a screwdriver to put the screws in the anchors.

Q: Are these big and sturdy enough to hold remotes?

It could hold about 2 remotes. And they may stick out.. As far as may be too long for it. Some mail I get has to be slightly angled up

Q: Are the hooks big enough to hold dish or hand towels?

Maybe a dish towel but it would probably need a hook of some sorts on the towel. It might be hard to get it to stay
