Upgrade VirtuosoXT Gray Thicker Earpads - Ear Cushion Compatible with Corsair Virtuoso RGB Wireless SE/Virtuoso XT Gaming Headset, Breathable, High-Density Noise Cancelling Foam, Added Thickness

The stock ones which arrived upon my Corsair Virtuoso RGB were adequate, however, a close-friend who has the same headphones had stated his annoy him following a few hours of use and recommended I replace the originals with an upgraded pair, so, I did!These are soft, cushy and, approximately, twice as deep as the stock-offering, so my ears shall never contact the driver-surfaces within the earcups.They do reduce the sound-isolation regarding ambient noice ever-so-slightly, however, this is barely even noticeable to myself unless I, specifically, pay attention regarding this aspect when all is, otherwise, quiet.These were easily, if not counter-intuitively, installed. I mention counter-intuitively, for, with most rotatable-objects, say, jar-lids, rotating counter-clockwise loosens and clockwise tightens (lefty-loosey, righty-tighty, heh.) Corsair, however, within their infinite wisdom, decided to remove their earpads, a CLOCKWISE-twist should be required... why?! Uncertain, however, all you need do is grasp the earpad and rotate CLOCKWISE, approximately, one-eighth turn and the pads easily remove. To install, simply align the mounting-tabs upon the earpads with the corresponding slotted-openings within your Corsair Virtuoso RGB and rotate COUNTER-clockwise until they lock-into position to secure them... voila!These are a great upgrade to an already fine headset, should you desire extra comfort during longer sessions, I cannot recommend these enough.

Got these for my GF after I got her the expensive nice "looking" Corsair vertuoso headset (not impressed with the virtuoso at all mic sucks and earcups suck). Well the pads on it were horrible. Your ears literally sit on the speakers because the pads it comes with are so tiny. These are much bigger and softer so the only thing touching you is these squishy pads and the top headband, like it should be. The great thing is the pads come off the headset just by twisting (its like corsair new youd need to replace their crap earcups). These twisted right on in place of the old ones with no modification what so ever. I got the gray ones for the white headset and it looks good. The noise cancellation isnt great on these cups but that actually works to the virtuosos advantage, because the side tone is so weak having less noise cancellation so you can hear yourself talk, so you're not yelling all the time. Would buy these again if they wear out.

These pads are softer, larger, and denser than the stock pads. The extra depth of the pads pull the speaker part of the headphones farther from your ear so it doesn’t press down on the top of your ear. The extra padding also absorbs some the pressure placed by the arch of the headphones onto your head making it more comfortable. Great upgrade for the money. Will definitely buy some other colors too.Update: The inner felt on the right ear has come undone. I don’t know if it tore or just doesn’t get fastened down by anything? Still works but it just tickles my ear when I first put it on.I will say if you can purchase a darker color, do it. The body oils and water after showering fade it to a bit darker grey. Go for a black or maroon if it’s an option for you colored headset.

They were a lot larger and not nearly as soft as the stock cuffs that came with the headphone, but they also haven’t broken like the stock ones did. Very easy to install and they do their job. Would not recommend for people with large ears as they do increase the clamping force a bit and it could be quite uncomfortable during longer sessions.

Overall it's not a bad cushion but has it's shortcomings. With the Virtuoso, these cushions are a bit too thick, so for people with big head like me it actually causes the headset to not able to completely cover my ear.Pro :- Looks good- Comfortable- Easy to installCon::- Too thick- Noise Cancellation is not as good as original

The sidetone has issues on my headset, cranked to the max it is still extremely low. These allow a little more background noise, which I needed.They also reduce my tension headaches by taking a little more pressure off the top of my head.Not to mention they are softttttttt.Only downside they get hot after extended use.

This product is great.

These earpads are so much comfier than the stock earpads the headset came with. There was a noticable difference in comfort between the two. I wore the headset for about 4 hrs straight and did not feel the need to remove and adjust my headset. The pads are thicker and feel light and airy.

You need this 100% except if you're 4'5" and have a child sized head ...The virtuoso xt earpads are SO thin its not confortable
