Great stuff, you MUST have a vaccum chamber or pressure pot for this.
This stuff is like trying to mix slightly softened taffy. It's SO THICK!! It literally hurt my upper arms to mix for 3 mins. And you better be fast to pot this stuff cause it cured fast. If you dont have a vaccum chamber, you must have a pressure pot. You have to have one or the other to get rid of the bubbles. Both would be ideal because the pressure pot still didn't get rid of them all. Thankfully they weren't so bad they affected my dice.... looks like most of the bubbles were what got stuck on the surface. So do not buy thinking the fridge method will work. You cannot let this sit and hope it will degas on its own.Other than that, its SUPER clear, and sturdy. I will get many dice out of the molds.Recommendation: Mix, then immediately put in a vaccum chamber for 5 mins. Then immediately pour, then right into a pressure pot. Even pouring it, its so thick, makes more bubbles. But waaaaay less then pressure pot alone. And I had it up to 40 psi. Will buy again...when I have a vaccum chamber.

Great product if you put the work in
The silicon is great quality, you definitely get what you pay for but it is incredibly thick and because of both parts being the same color, its very hard to tell when fully mixed so you end up stirring this thing a ridiculous amount of time and switching hands every ten seconds as your wrist gets sore. However the end result is great, but if you don't need it to be clearish i would go with one of their cheaper opaque silicons since those also tend to be easier to mix.Because of the thickness it is also pretty impossible to pour in a thin strand but i was able to put mine in a pressure pot to relieve almost all the bubbles, the only ones i got settled where it was exposed to air while curing and not near the actual piece it was curing around. I saw someone say the pressure pot method wouldn't work but i tried it anyway and got excellent results. Maybe I just got lucky though so take it with a grain of salt

Great product! Expect no issues!
Pro tip: check the lot number first four digits. Month and year manufactured. The product I got was less than 2 months old (that's a good thing). Only thing I wish I had was a vacuumed chamber. This is rather viscus stuff so be ready. Ensure what you are casting/casting in is not going to react with the silicone. Once all those boxes are checked you should have zero issues. Smooth on products are awesome to work with and they have an amazing QC team if you end up with issues.

Great for food safe silicone molds
I used this to make molds for food applications. Mix 2 parts well - unlike colored resins, you can't see when the two parts are thoroughly mixed. Cures in a reasonably short period of time.

Thick, Lots of Bubbles to Degas, BUT Nice, Clear Molds
This silicone is very thick, and due to the high viscosity is difficult to use. Even with a vacuum chamber, I had a hard time removing bubbles from the molds. The work time isn't very long, so I felt really nervous that I wouldn't be able to vacuum all of the bubbles out in time. I was able to do it, however. When this was a pain to work with, I have to admit that it does make nice, clear molds. I heard that Sorta Clear 12 might be easier to work with. Definitely do not buy this if you don't have a vacuum chamber

Perfect fpr our projects.
Excelent silicone for our molds. It is nice to be able to see into the mold when doing multiple resin colors or patterns. We love each Smooth-on product we have tried out. This one is just right for our needs. No bad smell and mixing is easy.

Great for resin dice.
Great for resin dice making. Don’t use duct tape to create a barrier though. I didn’t cure well where it is in contact with that tape. It was sticky. I cut the edges off and it was fine. Not a flaw in the mold, just wanted to pass on some knowledge

Do Not Buy Unless Professional
The silicone works, if you measure it properly and mix it up it will cure and set up in the time it says. For bigger, flat molds its a pretty good option. I wanted to make a mold with an undercut in small container. This silicone is very thick, and very hard to mix without something to do it for you. My arms and hands were cramping up, it's like mixing super thick honey. Pouring it into a thin stream is next to impossible, and I was left with huge bubbles in it no matter what I did to fix them. In the end I wasted a lot of money on this silicone and have molds I just can't use. However, if you are someone who makes a lot of molds professionally who has a pressure pot to degas AND a machine to mix it for you, it's certainly a good product. Without bubbles it would be very clear, and the thin layers left on my mixing cups was like glass. If you are an average consumer looking to make things for a hobby thought without a lot of equipment, you're better off getting something else. Three stars because it does work and probably is best for someone working professionally, but it doesn't get the other two because it was just a bunch of wasted money with a lot of pain and a lot of frustration. So here's my warning: unless you're making a flat, thin mold and can get rid of bubbles with a machine don't get it at all.
