EXPLODED SECONDS AFTER IT WAS PLUGGED IN
THIS ITEM EXPLODED IN MY HAND AS I PRESSED THE RED ACTIVATE BUTTON FOR THE FIRST USE.Maybe I got a faulty one, but the one I was sent exploded in my hand as I pressed the red button, that the instructions said, was suppose to activate it.The instructions were simple enough, but they didn't say anything about it exploding when first used.It also created a big cloud of smoke and it caused our electrical trip switches to turn themselves off along with the power, so we know for sure that our electric safety trip switches work in the building! But VERY SCARY item, didn't expect to be holding a bomb!It is on its way now back to Amazon now for a refund.I don't see why I should have to leave a star on the review even though I saw plenty when the item exploded in my hand. The manufacturer may not agree but I would class this item as Very Dangerous to LIfe.

Read the instructions.
Magic wand, as you can see from the picture. The nut was glowing red and yet no damage to the surrounding sound proofing. The instructions are simple yet specific, I have a friend that didn't follow the instructions and had many of the faults complained about here. Mine works fine.

Not the Bolt Buster
It's not the Bolt Buster so shouldn't be advertised as that, It's the mini induction heater which is amazing for the price, So it works well, It arrived quickly, The only issue is that the insulation wears away but you can get spare coils and you get enough with the unit, It heats the piece up enough to get it undone, The Bolt buster is higher powered and more money, Also it sparks when the insulation wears away, which you don't get with the lower powered mini induction heater, It's a great substitute, I am satisfied overall

Awesome tool, great alternative when torches are not available
This monster of a tool can help you take out pretty much anything. Rusted exhaust studs and nuts? No problem. Seized turbo bolts? Nothing to it. O2 sensor got you down? Stand back and hold my beer.I'm a mechanic and I use oxy acetylene torches at my shop on a daily basis but I can't exactly take those home. So I got this! And boy does it help when you're working on a 30+ year old GM with rusty bolts everywhere. Just plug it in, adjust your coil, and hold that trigger for about 30-35 seconds and zip-zap, that bolt is coming out with a simple hand ratchet. It's a tad bulky, yes and the cord is shorter than I'd like but that's really all I can complain about. It even comes in a nice solid carrying case with a good assortment of coils (two of each size plus two that you can bend and twist as you like to make your own) and the instructions are good for those of you who have never used one of these before. So for the home mechanic who is working on a project car, this is invaluable to save you time, blood, sweat and curses. This handy piece of equipment will last you a lifetime if you look after it, the coils are well insulated and as long as you treat them right they should last the life of the tool itself.
