I thought I would never find a dishwasher detergent that wasn't toxic but powerful. I thought I was stuck with cascade (super toxic) or the 7th generation natural crap that didn't work. my husband kept on encouraging me to try different brands! I am glad I found this!!! the first time the dishes came out sparkling clean, I thought fluke! we must have rinsed the dishes super well! But over the 1st week every time the dishes and glasses came out they were CLEAN! I have 4 kids and a 12 year old who is always in charge of loading the dishwasher, somedays lets just say there is no rinsing - yet this dishwasher detergent does NOT disappoint. another amazing fact, we don't have to use alot of the powder, it comes with an allotted spoon. I have it on subscribe and save - and it comes to my door every 30 days, and most of the time we still have some detergent left. and we run the washer 30 days in a 30 day month! customer for life!

OK SO I’ve been in the market for a non toxic dishwasher detergent for a while, I used to make it at home and it wasn’t cleaning well it would leave residue, and this product had been recommended to me so I decided to try it out and ITS AMAZING! No residue, makes your dishes sparkling clean!!! For reference we get all the gunk off of our dishes before popping them in the dish washer because we have an apartment dishwasher and I think it’s not exactly up to date in today’s tech so not sure it dishwashers these days actually get rid of hardcore food on dishes. I bought this because we have soft water- and cats. I was so worried that the chemical dishwasher detergent we were using was staying on the dishes and would harm my cats when they drank water from their bowl. So I decided to give this a try. I have been using about 1/2 scoop, but probably should use a little less as there are some bubbles when I rinse the cat dishes after the cycle is done. I will continue to experiment.

I wanted a detergent that was free from dyes and toxins. I’ve been using this one for over 6 months now. It cleans and shines our dishes without leaving any chemical tasting residue. I forgot to re-order one time and had to use a pod we had leftover and couldn’t believe the difference. I could taste in on my cups. I’m very satisfied. Wish I had tried it sooner! I now have it come on a subscription so I never run out.

Our apartment is roo small for a standard dishwasher. We settled on a Hermitlux counter top dishwasher. Our next challenge was finding the right dish detergent.After reviewing several options, we finally had our answer: truly free.The bag comes with a scoop. We only need a little less than half of a scoop. No spots on the dishware, except for the silicone cooking utensils we did in a trial run. To be fair, I think this was due to the utensils being silicone, nothing to do with the detergent or dishwasher. We wash these by hand and leave the dishwasher for bowls, plates, cups, and regular eating utensils. No weird taste or residue seen on these. The smell of the detergent while washing is faint but pleasant.We originally bought our first bag in November 2024. After doing 4-6 loads of dishes per week, we finally had to order another bag of detergent (May 2025). We're very satisfied with this detergent!

This product cleaned the dishes. Have used only once so not enough time to provide a great deal of feedback. Purchased because it is good for dishes, dishwasher and the environment and therefore all of us. The package comes with a measuring scoop so you do not OVERuse. While the dish detergent is non toxic the packaging does not appear to be recyclable. Made in Michigan.

I don’t normally write reviews, but this dishwasher detergent has exceeded my and my husband’s expectations so so much. After having our baby, we started to use the dishwasher more to help save some time and we tried a lot of the store brands, including “natural”, scentless, liquid and powder formulas, but all of our dishes would return *smelling and tasting *like detergent- it was frustrating. We settled on washing glass only, which had to be rinsed, and handwashing everything else. We even considered changing dishwashers but our dishwasher was only a few years old. I had been eyeing this product because of the reviews, claims, and the reasonable price in comparison to other similar items on Amazon. The First round of dishes came out so clean, spotless , and scentless! We tried some plastic containers that appeared permanently cloudy, and those were renewed. it was not too good to be true. But every wash since has been pristine . Our first was was march 12/13th and we still have plenty left. The only downside is that this will make you use your dishwasher more! Although I wish this was more affordable, I hope this product never changes.

Amazed! I was using a competitors dishwasher tablet and it never dissolved and left a pink, sludge build up. Switched to this and the dishwasher is sparkling clean again. No smell! I’m sensitive now to regular scented kinds ans can always taste it on the dishes so it’s a big relief to find an effective, non toxic option. Yay.
