Will this hold a 13 or 14 inch diameter ice cream cake?

Would this work for mini cupcakes? Or would they slide around too much or be too difficult to get out of the slots. Any input would be appreciated :).

Can this be placed in a freezer to store baked goods?

Can you also use this when collapsed to carry a shorter cake or will the act of carrying/lifting by the handle pop it up to full size?
