Watch out for battery life
Two weeks in and batteries are dead. At this rate it will be an expensive purchase. Also too risky to take on an extended trip. Been using it twice a day as directed around two minutes each session. Seems to do a good job but force diminishes rapidly and stops completely when it needs new batteries. I do not recommend this product.

Buyer beware
Water pik used to have a good/trusted reputation. I have had several over the years. This model is awful. I bought it only because I need a batter operated one. First it was difficult to put together. Second it holds very letter water (30 seconds worth). Third, the blast of water (even on low) is so strong it will shake you fillings loose and remove your crowns. No wonder there is a warning NEVER to use it under your tongue. It acts like a runaway garden hose. Bleeh. I hope to return this dental scourge.,
