These worked really well for the project I bought them for--plastic canvas purses/clutches. The only downside is the ugly side of the clasp ends up on the pretty side of the purse in one instance (the top part). I managed to fix that by buying some giant "bling" to glue over it. I chose these clasps over the normal pc purse clasps because the other clasps were not coming apart, and every time I opened the purse, the bottom would just pull right off the canvas. This works so much better. As far as the magnetic part, no problems. It stays together just fine but isn't so strong that it pulls the off the project.They're easy to install too. Just poke it through the material, put a flat piece on the back, fold the prongs over.

You might think these are flimsy, but they're not. They've chosen a good steel to make the tabs out of, and these are still relatively low profile. I made some travel document holders in leather, and used these to create the clasp function. They work well with a stiffer fabric like leather, but if you were going to use them on soft material, you'd want a thicker backing, like an ABS or aluminum sheet cut to fit you lip edge to reinforce the function of pulling them apart before final assembly.

I got these because sometimes I get commissioned to make purses for people. These things are a God-send! The person that I was making the purse for didn't want any zippers (which does not go with my need to make sure all things are secure) and wanted one flap with a button.These are super easy to insert and they work beautifully! I put a bit of glue on the prongs to secure the fabric around it a little. I actually do this with many things. I don't trust most cloth materials.... I'm forever suspicious of it's plot to thwart me at any opportunity it can find.It did take a long time to arrive and my client had to wait a little longer for her merch but I was very happy with the quality and performance and she was equally happy with the finished product!I'm posting pictures of the bag because I didn't think to post pictures of the actual button clasps. I was too excited to get this thing finished!

I ordered these for purses I was making for my daughters for Christmas. They were just as advertised, and the price for the quantity was great. My only issue was in the time it took for them to be delivered. According to the tracking information, it took over a week for them to travel approximately 90 miles.

I was skeptical about these snaps before I got them because I thought the price was low for the amount of snaps you get. I received them quicker than expected and was pleasantly surprised about the quality. These snaps look good, are sturdy and easy to use. I tried another brand that hurt my fingers/thumb when pressing the metal tabs down. These are much easier on the hands and you can pull the tabs up again if needed. I have put these on a few purses that I made and they worked out great. I will definitely be ordering more of these.

These work well, but a bit large for light material - made more for heavy fabric - leather, duck, etc.

Just what I need to make a crossbody bag.

Ordered by occupational therapist to be used as easy modification for individuals having difficulty fastening and unfastening buttons on jeans/pants. Works well. Easily placed in pants with little to no sewing knowledge/skill required. Has been working well so far. Will continue to recommend!

They are ok but be warned there is no washer to hold it in place. I had to put some very heavy reinforcement behind both parts otherwise it is not a very professional finish. If you use buckram/pellon it solves the problem and gives a more rigid support. The magnets are strong though.
