Better for older kids
Got this for a 4 year old. And it took two adults to put it together into the robot. A lot of frustration went into this toy. He loves it. But taking it apart and putting it together is not a fun task and not something a child can do.

One of the better toy purchases.
My three and a half year old son loved this robot, so I ended up getting him the other toy from the series, the yellow construction vehicles robot. The parts are fully interchangeable, adding to the replay-ability. The toys seem sturdy enough. Time will tell how the screws fare (he assembles/disassembles the robots a couple times per week). I think it's one of the better toys I bought him -- it trains attention span, fine motor skills, and teaches the "lefty-loosey, righty-tighty" basics of screwdriver operation and the idea that there is a proper order of actions when assembling things.

Hard to assemble but the kid loves it
So I never got to figure out how to transform the trucks into the robot the instructions weren’t that great but my 3 year old love the individual trucks and loves to take them apart and put together again

Helps Develop Motor Skills In Younger Children
The media could not be loaded. This is an exceptional toy that can teach kids things while they are just having fun. It has several different ways to assemble it in ways other than the default assembly on the box and the parts can be played with independently if the child gets bored or frustrated. It is well made, no sharp edges and the parts fit together well. When you consider VALUE + EDUCATIONAL BENEFIT + QUALITY I see this as a 5 Star item

I got this gift for my 5 yr old grandson. He loved taking it apart and rebuilding it

Little kids wud have a hard time with this
I got this for my five-year-old grandson. I would not recommend this for a child under eight or nine because it’s hard to get it to stay together when you make the robot it just isn’t very durable as far as it keeping together once the robots made.. just for the cars its fine.

Its too complicated and teadious to put together and take apart
The toy looks better in pictures than it feels to play with. All the parts require a screw to put together or take apart. Nothing is a snap-in-place type part. That makes it very time consuming and tedious to have to put together or change it's shape.
