This and a dewalt 20v cut off tool with a diamond blade were all that were needed to do a complicated entire tiled shower , walls and bathroom floor. This thing cuts straight nearly perfect. Broke an occasional tile but pretty rare. Cut lines were laser straight. Professional quality job possible with this. Price was a huge bargain. Not difficult to use at all with almost no learning curve. Quality made smooth roller/ cutting function.

I used this cutter to cut porcelain tiles of various sizes for a complete bathroom remodel project. There were 2" x 2" mosaic shower floor tiles, 12" x 24" floor tiles, and 24" x 48" shower wall tiles. The cutter did a great job after I got a feel for the pressure I needed to apply when scoring the tiles (more was generally better). I had a few tiles where the break veered off a bit at the end, but mostly I was able to take off the excess with an angle grinder. I was dreading this big tiling job, since I have little experience with tiling, but I was pleasantly surprised with how effective this cutter was for the price.

I'd give this a 10 if they had a rating that high! It has a unique single track scoring bar with canted precision ball bearings making for smooth and precise cuts with no sticking, side play or wobble. The fold out wings support larger tiles while cutting. I used this for 15" x 30" x 3/8" thick porcelain tiles with no issues at all. It takes a few practice cut to figure out the scoring pressure due to the large amount of leverage you get from the long scoring arm but after that it is a breeze to use. It was precisely aligned out of the box so no adjustment was required to get straight cuts. I found the entire product to be very high quality for the price and that is often rare to find.

If you’ve never used a tool like this you might doubt its capabilities. For huge format tiles you’ve got not other real choice but to use a scribe. Every tile has its own character and after learn how to use the tool you’ll agree that this scribe does whatever you tell it to do. It’s a very simple tool to use. Over the last few projects it has held up well for me. The cutter wheel is still sharp and the deck is still flat. And for the price you’ll be happy you bought it.

This tile cutter came in surprisingly well made and well packaged. The product is SOLID. Look no further, this is the one! After trying another Amazon-sold cheaper tile cutter, I came actors this one. And it’s amazing. My first three cuts weren’t that great but I quickly got the hang of it and every cut ever since has been clean and straight. This tile is fantastic and super easy to use to cut 24” x 48” format tiles!

Got this to cut 12x24" tile. Cuts 12" fine. EVERY time I need a long cut (24") it broke the tile uneven. I flipped tiles and same thing happened leaving me with tile in the middle I couldn't remove. Trying broke the tile (see pic).Also can't make corner cuts. Only straight or angle.I'm returning (and I need of a new box of tiles and a new tile cutter)
