First Act FP6215 Floor Tom with Mallets

The media could not be loaded.  I’m a music teacher and am particular about the sound quality of instruments my students use. I purchased this little floor tom drum because I saw the mallets were covered with felt and I knew that would mellow the sound a bit. Plus it came with 2 mallets and not just one like some do. I love this drum! It’s the perfect size for using in my preschool music classes, the sound is very nice, and so far it’s stood up to lots of fun playing by my little students. The design around the side is also very nice.

This was a Birthday gift for my granddaughter. As soon as she opened it all the kids wanted to play with it. It has a very nice sound and fairly strong and durable as long as you keep it away from water.

I have a 3 year old and a 9 year old and they loved this drum. It has a great sound that does not drive a parent too nuts. The only caution I would give is that the head of this drum is made of some sort of animal hide that my dog loved. When we were not home she ripped it apart and gnawed on it! I totally recommend the product, but would advise that it should be kept out of reach of dogs!!

I bought this for my 1 year old grandson. Him and his 3year old brother loved it. Durable and we'll made. Worth what I paid.

This is a Christmas present for my 1 year old grandson. He has a baby drum that frustrates him because it doesn't make noise - so his mom said he needs a drum that sounds right. This fills the bill! It looks pretty sturdy. He is doing a pretty good job of keeping time to music, so this should help to encourage his talent ;-)

My daughter asked me to order these. She is starting a new mom and me music program. The price and quality of these drums make this purchase an excellent value. She will use them for her class but they also make great gifts for others. Sound is fairly loud but not too loud. It is a drum after all.

Five year old boy loves these drums, but they do not have good sound. It's very flat, and doesn't actually respond well to making sound with hands, as I would expect these to be used with. With sticks, better sound can be made, but still the sound just doesn't reverberate like you would like it to.The two drums have come loose on the connecting bit of wood, and they twist when carried, but otherwise they've held up for the last six months.

OMG these are the perfect size for a toddler and they are well made, AUTHENTIC BONGOS! This is one of those top ten gifts that you can get just about any toddler and know that they will LOVE IT TO PIECES! Thankfully this is made really sturdy, so hopefully my little guy won't literally love it to pieces! LOL

Looks great and quality seems to be good. Only sound may be can be improved, but fpr 2-3 yo doesn’t really matter :)
